Courthouses and court facilities are open only to attorneys, litigants, and members of the public with scheduled proceedings or appointments. While the courts are conducting most matters remotely, judges can schedule an in-person proceeding based on the facts and circumstances in any case.

The Somerset County Board of County Commissioners is urging all residents to follow the State of Emergency rules issued by Governor Murphy for 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021. Residents are asked not to travel on the roads to allow crews to clear and limit the need for emergency service responses.
Due to the impending winter storm, Somerset County curbside recycling pickups that are scheduled for early this week will likely be impacted. Residents with Monday recycling pickup should not put out their bins tonight but wait for tomorrow morning.
Residents should leave their recyclables at the curb.
Classes are cancelled on Feb. 15 for Presidents Day.
Recycling pickups scheduled for Jan. 28th are delayed.
